Billie Jean's has been providing hair styling services, wigs and more to the Houston community in the same area for over 41 years. The owner, Billie Jean Echols, a cancer survivor herself, started out as a hairdresser and later attended classes in wig styling. In 1961 she opened Billie Jean's Hair Designs and it became a family business after her daughters Linda and Cookie completed beauty school and joined her. As the business grew, Billie's mother Ruthie even helped out as the receptionist. They became interested in providing wigs to people who had to deal with hair loss after Ruthie underwent cancer treatment. Knowing how stressful hair loss can be, Billie and her daughters decided to provide a warm, friendly, and cheerful atmosphere where customers can relax and enjoy trying on wigs. It is their dedication to service and their commitment to excellence that has kept customers from around the world returning again and again. From haircuts, perms, and colors, to wigs, scarves, and more, Billie Jean's provides an outstanding atmosphere along with excellent customer service for all of your hair care needs. Billie Jean's is located only three miles west of downtown Houston and only 2 miles north of the Houston medical center. Please come by for a professional fitting.
